2025 Cheer Season Uniform Information

Practice Uniform

Cheerleaders will wear practice uniforms to all practices. Each cheerleader will receive two practice T-shirts—one grey and one red. WYC will send out an order form for shirt sizes.

• Black shorts must be worn with the red T-shirt.

• Red shorts must be worn with the grey T-shirt.

• Parents are responsible for purchasing shorts. Approved styles include:

  • Spandex

  • Nike Pros

  • Soffe shorts

  • Butterfly Shorts

• Hair must be pulled back in a ponytail for all practices.

• Cheer sneakers are required for every practice. Parents must purchase these prior to August. Example links for approved sneakers will be provided.

• Chasse Apex

• Varsity

• Amazon

Game Day Uniform

Cheerleaders will wear their provided game day uniform, which includes:

• Uniform top and skirt (provided)

• White cheer sneakers (purchased by parents)

• White socks

• Provided game bow (must be worn)

• In colder weather, cheerleaders will wear:

  • Jacket (purchased by parents)

  • Leggings

Competition Uniform

For competitions, cheerleaders will wear:

• Uniform top and skirt

• White socks

• Cheer sneakers

• Competition bow (must be worn)

  • If you do not have last year’s competition bow, one must be purchased.
