Tips for Maximizing Practice Time:
To help us make the most of every practice, please ensure the following:

  • Have your child use the restroom before arriving at practice.

  • Remove all jewelry before practice.

  • Ensure their hair is securely tied back in a ponytail.

Position Assignments:
Cheerleading positions are assigned based on the coach’s evaluation of each athlete’s skills, commitment, and team dynamics. Priority is given to those who consistently attend practice, demonstrate active participation, and show dedication to improving. The coach will assign positions that best fit the needs of the team, always keeping safety as the top priority. Our goal is to ensure that every cheerleader is placed in a role where they can contribute to the team’s success while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Absence Policy:
Cheerleading is a unique team sport where every member plays a critical role. Unlike other sports, there are no substitutes waiting on the bench—each cheerleader holds a specific position. When one member is absent, it can prevent an entire stunt group or pyramid from practicing, affecting the progress of the whole team. All practices, games, choreography sessions, and competitions are mandatory. While we understand that occasional absences may occur, consistent attendance is crucial for the success of the team.

Consequences of Unexcused Absences:
After three unexcused absences, the coach reserves the right to move your child from the competition team to the game-day cheerleading team.

Communication:
Please notify your child’s team parent in advance if they will miss any practice or game. Timely communication helps us manage practice time and team progress effectively.
